Damn that car looks good... if only I had $12k lying around. I'd be proud to have that in the garage.

Is it really a C5, or does it just have C5 wheels on it?

I love that body style. Thats back when it was the Stingray right? I remember the late 70s models that were long and skinny (loopy as you call it). Those were always my favorites. In the 80s they just got too wide for me.

Pre-C3 yes?

I never got a better look at it, since I wasn't there when the picture was taken.

You are correct Arc, though I love those vettes too.

This is the C3 body type (pace car edition):

I pretty much love all vettes up until the C4 model that chico is selling. After that...I just don't like the way they look. But man, do I love the flared fenders on that C3..it just looks like 2 seats and an engine.

My uncle had a white C3 vette...traded it for a tractor. To this day I cannot figure out his logic behind that trade, but I'm sure the other guy was thrilled.

My uncle bought a 1963 split window for 3332.00 brand new, went into the marines and his mom sold it on him when he was away.....doh! That thing would have been worth HUGE money today

I don't think I could ever forgive my mom if she did that.
