Heres a post ive been meaning to do for a while.

I had 2000 GP GT Midnight Black, Coupe.
I had recently done AGX Struts and Eibach Springs all around, along with front and rear sways. On the after noon of 12/9 i was driving to work, and then woke up in the hospital 9 hours later. Apparently i went across the center line and hit the L/R of a big landscape truck and then front ended a Chevy 2500 pickup. I dont remember from right before the accident till 9 hours after, kinda weird. Took them 45 minutes with the jaws of life to get me out. I only suffered a broken arm and a fractured skull, so thats nice.

Well ive got some pics of the crash but not sure of how to post them on here, so if anybody can help then i can post them.

Now the good news. I knew i wanted the 3800 again but wasnt sure what car. Well today i jsut picked up a 2002 Gp Gt Black Coupe with 105k miles. But this one has the black leather, HUD, sunroof, heated seats, and the DIC. I had none of those on my last one so its a nice upgrade. Just have to do all the same mods again.

Just goes to show how well the GP takes care of the occupants. 20 years ago you probably wouldn't have been alright.

Ha... that reminds me of the race I saw in 98 (Daytona) when a race car drove into the back of the pace car. All four occupants of the pace car got out and walked away. The driver of the race car needed medical attention.

wow sorry to hear that, i was the one that bought your rear sway bar and stuff when i was up there last spring, it WAS one NICE RIDE when i was up there it looked good i hope you get another one

AustinGTP: I remember that accident but are you sure it is 1998 Daytona 500? I know that year because Dale Earnhardt finally won the race after 20 years of trying.
