Its time for me to bury my 3 year old cell phone. I stopped in the provider's store and just looked around for a minute. Most standard cell phones are between free and $70 (I'm keeping my plan).
Any recommendations before I get started looking closer?

-NO razr
-NO full keyboards
-needs camera, preferably decent
-don't care about internet

The wife has the Sony Ericsson W810i , it's a camera with a phone.

I have the Cingular/ATT 3125 , it's more phone than I'll ever use.

I have cingular/att, I have an LG cu400. I love the phone, I think they have it for free now. Good camera, pretty quick on the internet with the 3G technology. Gets good reception and great battery life.

I have the Cingular LG CU500, gets great service (3G) and functions with in the phone itself are very speedy. Hardly any load time, if ever.

Which provider do you have?

My last phone was a lg 4200(i think) and dropped it a million times and it still works but now I have a razr and I see you said no razr so if your looking for some simply with internet than LG might be for you.

I think that's the one I have. But I get to upgrade in August. I'll probably go with the enV. My sister in law has it and loves it, but it has a full keyboard so it's not something zuul wants.

I've got a Samsung Sync (A700 I think it is) from Cingular and I love it. The only problem I've had is that every once in a while my voice won't go through, I can hear the person on the other end but they can't hear me. Besides that it's been a great phone.

I just got my new phone. Upgraded from an old, black V3 Razr to a new V3xx. A lot nicer. Hopefully it will be as good to me as the previous one. I hacked it to install a Pontiac logo on the front cover and enable video, not to mention the drops and other abuse.

Overall, the V3xx has a much nicer camera and video capabilities. Even the sound with the built in music player is fabulous. It also acts as a usb drive when hooked to the pc for upload/downloading files and mp3s.

I have been in the wireless industry for quite a while and the best thing I can tell you is stay away from anything with glass in it (ie: razr) ond stay away from LG anything. I have used every phone that at&t sell and verizon, trust me when i say that there are few phones i would recomend for cameras. alhtough, sony's snapshot is pretty sweet. (3.2mp)
