when they put the hummer into the civilian lineup, I was really disappointed. it isn't really a "Hummer" I mean it won't do the same as an original, so why get it? If I ever buy a hummer, I am going to get a de-mil one and fix it up to my liking. I have a buddy who has a 2000 2500HD with the duramax and it's turbo'd, I thought that they started out as turbo, but I don't know for sure. I don't know what the first year for the duramax was, either. I only know that my buddy's 00 is turbo'd, and my dad's 04 is also.
