Just purchased a 92 Vulcan 750 last night. I'll be bringing it home next weekend as I need to do a few things to have everything transfer over. This is my first bike so it should be a new experience. It will also allow me to give my dd a much needed break. I wish the few that have bikes on here lived closer as it would be nice to go out for a run one day.

Remember, dress for the crash, not the ride!

motorcyclesuperstore.com has the best prices and a good sale going on right now.

motorcycle superstore has GREAT prices , thats where i bought my brand new dunlop d404 for 60 bucks plus shipping cheepest i found, best thing i can say is get some good boots, you got yourself a nice bike, lots of diffrent things you can do to them, if you ever need info on where to get some parts, i got lots of links saved on my computer,

I am actually looking at upgrading soon, I got my eye on a brand new HD softail custom 0 miles its a left over 09 for dirt cheep, so then my zuki may be going on the market

Sounds like you got a good find. I have many fond memories of bike riding, but as was stated before, dont skimp on protective gear.

I truly enjoyed riding, but I got very tired of how other drivers DO NOT watch for you. Given the advent of how many idiots are now "multi-tasking" while they drive, the prospect spooks me even more. I'm not trying to discourage you, just a friendly reminder that you need to be super aware while you ride, and assume EVERYONE is an idiot...that way you preserve your skin.

I wish you many happy miles.

Here's my scoot when I took my bike to see the pacific ocean.

Don't mind the sissy bar. It was a 10 minute hack job and worked great.
