Well, it's been a month since I told everyone that I won on Meguiar's online. I finally got the backing plate to the G100 and got to detail the Comp G this past weekend.

Here's some pics!

I used all of Meguiar's products on the detail job. Next on the list is getting the '98 GTP detailed. Hopefully, that will happen in the next few weeks.

Well, it really wasn't a kit! I won the G100 DA polisher with the backing plate and got about $125 in Meguiar's products that I chose. If you haven't used any of the Meguiar's products, you'll be amazed how good they are. I've been using Meguiar's since about 1976.

Here's the steps I used on detailing the Comp G using their products.
Wash with NXT car wash with a microfiber wash mit. Clayed the hood, trunk and roof. Polished with M80 and the G100. (You've got to do one section at a time or else it's a pain to get off). Then I topped it off with two coats of NXT liquid tech wax. After it sit in the sun for a few hours, I went over the entire car with their new Ultimate Quick Detailer which should be available in some stores now. (O'reilly's, WalMart, Autozone ...)
