Yea me and my brother were driving down FM 1960 when this jetta pulls past us going way over the speed limit. He gets caught by the red infront of us (it was red the entire time he was speeding to it) and we pull up next to him. We think he was tring to race this 4 door corolla in the far left lane. So theres a corolla in the left lane, a jetta 1.8t in the middle lane, and us in the right lane. The light turnes green and my brother doesn't pay attention and the jetta gets the launch lol. We weren't even tring to race just wanted to have some fun. The corolla is way in the back and its just the jetta and us. We start to pull on him and we end up beating him lol. Its so funny because we have some huge tires on our truck and no gears for them so its sooooo slow. Not to mention its a Ford V8 so it was slow to begin with lol. We couldnt stop laughing when we won, and at the next light he wouldn't pull up next to us. lmao that was a great day.

All I have to say is OWNED. :p

I got a speeding ticket recently. I now have WAAY to many points on my license and it wasn't from street racing. No street racing for me.

I rather stare them down as if to say "dude, you got to ask yourself".

LOL. My buddy and I here in St. Louis have a pair of rentals mine is an 06 expidition with the 5.4L and he has a little Mitsubishi endeavor. We played a little on the highway and that Mitsu with the 6 walks away from the Exp. The 5.4 in the Expedition feels like it takes for ever to build up rpms. Uck!!! I'll stick with my 98 Silverado with the 5.7L smile

I've grown a kinda respect for our truck now lol. Its kool now because I can say we beat a jetta in it and the jetta got the launch hahaha. Its hard to lose to a big luncky Ford truck with ties that are to big and no gears for them, but that jetta managed to pull it off lol. I was laughing so hard. Good times. devilsmile

My mom has a 5.4L Expedition. That thing is SLOW!! We were driving down a 2 lane road and she saw me and sped up to like 80 to pass me. I see her in the mirror and put the pedal to the floor. I was able to get to 80 and keep her behind me even though she had a running start at me.

I had a 1.8t jetta. It was a pretty quick sporty little car. Fun to drive in the city. However it was the biggest piece of shit I've ever owned. The driver must have been an idiot though. No way a 5.4 would take it.

We have a 4.6 lol . I think that makes it even better. It really sucks and is slow. The guy driving the Jetta you could tell he was a street RICER. Couldn't shift for his life, but fact remains we ate him lol.
