Maybe Herc will know what kind of jet this is.

It's a pretty sweet video. It must be a Porsche Turbo because there is no way that thing would keep up with the R1 and it definetly wouldn't pass it until the bike tops out at 180mph.

The P is turbo'd. As for the jet. It's a European plane I wanna say it's made by Saab. But I wouldn't put money on it.

Makes me want to purchase a bike. But then I think about living longer... and I like that better.

I took multiple safety courses and wear safety gear and I've never, ever had a time when I thought I was in over my head. I feel safer on my bike sometimes than in my truck.

thats a bad azz video!...isnt the jet a British Tornado?...at any rate, its still wicked! I love the victory roll at the end...I did the speed thing ONCE on a bike when I was much younger...i was stretched out on the tank with my feet back on the rider pegs when I felt the wind rush pushing my head around at 120mph, and I decided I've had enough...I dropped of the throttle and sat up way too quick...the air coming under my face shield almost tore the helmet off my head, while the sail effect of my body yanked my hands right off the grips...I was squeezing the seat with my legs for dear life...the bike never quivered or swerved...most of this because of my inexperience as a rider at the time...but the spook was enough to slow me down on two wheels for life.

We call that "air brakes"

Might want to try keeping your feet on your own pegs next time. It's a little more sturdy (there's also the rear brake on those pegs which comes in handy).

i dont think the bike toped out on speed because it seemed he was still accelerating when the jet caught up to him and if you have ever been anywhere near the back of a jet when it in take off the wind buffeting it really intence. I think he had to slow to to remain in control.

I'm not sure what type of plane that is it is definately not a Tornado though. The tail fin is all wrong.
