I took multiple safety courses and wear safety gear and I've never, ever had a time when I thought I was in over my head. I feel safer on my bike sometimes than in my truck.

We call that "air brakes" Might want to try keeping your feet on your own pegs next time. It's a little more sturdy (there's also the rear brake on those pegs which comes in handy).

i dont think the bike toped out on speed because it seemed he was still accelerating when the jet caught up to him and if you have ever been anywhere near the back of a jet when it in take off the wind buffeting it really intence. I think he had to slow to to remain in control.
