try this, it is funny... I saw this posted on my local clubGP forum and it made me laugh! go to www.google.com go to "maps" click on "directions" from: New York, NY to: Paris, France read the directions #23

i think thats because your in mexico alex... iirc, every country has a different ending at the end of the address...

I tried it for other overseas locations... no dice. Some programmer just probably wanted to have a laugh and figured no one would ever see it. Alex, try http://maps.google.es/ Apparently google.com.mx does not have the maps feature. Just click "Cómo Llegar" and type New York, NY and Paris, FR (en espanol  ) and see if it works. Hope that helps.

i tried it from several locations such as myrtle beach south carolina to london and they all said swim across the atlantic... it has you go up to near new york then across the atlantic... one had me go to maine and then swim... lol
