In honor of the Bonneville namesake, I thought a fitting backdrop and a speed worthy version was in order...an homage to the old days of long, low ragtops w/389ci and three deuces on top! (I'd be happy with this one even w/NorthStar)

You know that the first FWD car to ever hit 200mph was a Pontiac Bonneville on the Bonneville salt flats?

Okay... after looking at this pic, thinking "it looks good, but soemthing just isn't right..."
T-bat, awsome job, but... the door needs to be a little bit longer. I'd say take it to the back of the seat.

was it a NorthStar powered car or an L67?...either way, thats still major cool that a Bonne FWD was the first...Lutz might be trying to make Pontiac the american BMW, but he is killing off some icons in the process.

It was a couple years ago, before Pontiac put the 8 cylinder in the car.

Here's an article on it: http://www.popularmechanics.com/automotive/motor_sports/1269281.html?page=1&c=y

600hp is possibly out of the 3800.

just a little bit more... between the seat and rear cowl.
It looks good none the less.
