mines made of wood, it looks pretty nice... jk

no but that would be sweet if you could cut the back half off a gp, from where the spoiler begins straight down and hang that above your bed, id bet thatd look pretty sweet... im not sure howd you do it though...

get a big ricer wing for the head board. Preferably one with many levels in the wing so you can use them as shelves for an alarm clock and other nick-nacks. get a front bumber/fascia and use that as the end of your bed. Make the legs of the bed using NOS tanks. To complete your new bedroom, see if you can make a spinner rim ceiling fan.

um, you aint married are ya? My wife would beat me, divorce me, then laugh at the idea. If you're single, DO IT NOW! lol. If you are married, where the heck you find her, I wanna trade!

P.S., my wife just slugged me for this response (do it. now)

I would start with a wood frame to give you something to attach other things to...I like Brown's idea of using a wing on the headboard or maybe (and this will require a lot of space and work)...you could use the back clip with your mattress sitting where the back seat would go...then you would have a backreast for watching TV in bed and a package shelf for other items...even factory speaker locations and a fold down armrest with cup holders laugh ...then just for kicks you can add a GP front bumper cover for a footboard (headlights optional) thumbsup

Here's a couple of places that make auto-themed furniture, just to give you some ideas:

Tbat, what you're suggesting is that this grown-(butt) man get himself a car bed like in elementary? Thats flippin cool. That way when his kid leaves cribs behind, he and his kid can have races through the house using the bed he made and the Fisher-Price bed the kid's got...

There was a guy on CGP that had the back end of a GP and he turned it into a couch.

I wish I had saved the pictures; it was sweeeeet.

Anyway, you guys need to clone some of my DNA or something; might solve your wife/girlfriend-doesn't-like-the-car-and-toys-with-motors problem. laugh
