Old school...In 1966, Olds introduced the FWD Toronado, the '66 Riviera was RWD(I have one.. smile ) and in '67, Cadillac introduced the FWD Eldorado.
In 1979-85, all three were FWD. The 1976 Cadillac Seville had an Olds 350 with electronic fuel injection (They had two sensors on the intake manifold, and a choke heater that always went bad; a.k.a. the $300 tune up). The 1977 Fleetwood Brougham had a 425 with fuel injection, and four wheel disc brakes. At least, those are the earliest ones I remember working on. wink School's out, and my apologies for the off-topic post. smile

How weird. I was just thinking the other day how hard would it be to convert my GP to rear wheel drive....

I read recently that Pontiac is going to go back to their roots and stop production of all FWD cars and be a only RWD company. Kinda harsh, but AWESOME!

It was mentioned in the October issue of High Performance Pontiac, in the Tribal News section: Table of Contents Note the black bar, top of the cover page. smile
