Well im a big fan of 3d modelling and what not but i came across this pontiac grand prix gt model, looks very nice, although quite expensive i'd love to get my hands on it so i could work with it so i could see what kinda exterior mods would look like on my car before ever puchasing them.

You get the rights to download that model and I guess, use it for your own work.

It's very well done to be sure but I sure wouldn't pay $120 for it.

I found another site though with some slightly worse models but if they accept one I upload, I'll be able to download it.

Then I'll have access to that model and if anybody wants me to photo-fit some mods, gimme a holler.

I'll keep you all updated.

im quite good with 3ds max 2008 and photoshop that im thinkin about modelling a grand prix gtp and GT, from the inside out and then doing some mods for it aswell just so people can see what it'll look like before they do it. If I ever end up finishing it ill post a link here for free download.

google has this thing where you can download 3d objects from other makers...

the main program is google sketch up and it's pretty cool.. you need to check that out and try it..

SketchUp is good. I use it for my modeling.

But there is ONE thing it's bad at;

ANYTHING CURVED!

I mean sure, you can draw curves. But that's the thing, you have to DRAW them.

Organic shapes are a task not worth tackling in that program.

For stuff like that, I suggest Blender.

It's yet another free modeling program, yet Blender is INFINATELY more useful. Plug-ins for any format one could think of, capable of doing VERY good fluid animations, and very good animations in general.

The UI is scary and unwieldly at first but you get used to it.

If either of you guys need any modeling tips/help shoot me a PM.

And if either of you ever start modding TESIV:Oblivion, shoot me many many PMs!
