Thanks to the gpnet frequenters for answering my questions regarding the 12" brake upgrade and color input. I purchased 04 monte carlo rotor set from ebay, drilled/slotted/zinc coated. 12" fronts and 10.9" rears. Got the front caliper brackets from clubxx classifieds. Exchanged my duralast gold ceramic pads at autozone at no charge, due to lifetime warranty (thanks Rook for clarifying that). Haven't given them a really good testing. Still getting used to them since this is the first day.

Looks great. Go slam on the brakes doing a buck twenty, and let us know what you think of them. Seriously, though, I'm thinking about upgrading, so I'd like to know if you're pleased.

So one thing I'm wondering... is the top or the bottom of the slot supposed to enter the caliper first? I have mine the opposite direction of yours. Or does it not matter?

as long as you follow the mfr's directions, it wont matter. my powerslot enters bottom first.
