Our local grocery store has gas pumps, and once you buy $100 worth of food, you get a fill up (up to 30 gallons) at 10 cents off a gallon. Both mine and the wife's car needed gas bad, so we met at the store today. I parked on one side of a pump and her on the other. I filled both cars to the tune of 29.5 gallons x $3.29 a gallon makes $97.32.
Gas went to $3.49 later that day.

mad GAS PRICES SUCK mad

And that is cheap. Regular is easily $3.50s around here, let alone premium. And we aren't even the highest in the nation! Imagine big SUVS and trucks, and diesel pricing! OMG I believe I'll be paying $4.20s soon for premium down here in Florida.

Yep join the crowd.

Kroger here does the same buy groceries get .10 off a gallon. I guess It's a good thing I spend about $700 a month at the grocery store.

Gas is normally $3.39. Diesel $4.10. I may have to get a new screen name. My Chevelle may not hit the streets this year. To and from work is 36 mile round trip. It gets 10 MPG and the local drag strip closed it's doors. Rumor is a developer is going to buy it and build new houses. The next closest strip is 75 miles away. That means $50 in gas to get to and from the strip, $50 entry fee, leave house at 9am, return about 2am. Maybe I'll chage it to frown Used2DrvChevelle frown

I paid $3.65 yesterday for 87. I drive about 75 miles a day between school and work. Pretty soon my car is going to be running on hopes and dreams.

Cheapest I've seen premium(93 octane) around here was around 3.5x, but there's a Shell station close to work that's 3.73.

Sometimes it's nice living close to the refineries... devilsmile

One of the local Exxon stations is now a Shell station..the gas went from $3.77 for Exxon premium to $3.95 for Shell V Power in two days. I went there to schedule an appointment for an emissions test..came back the next day and all the Shell signs were in place, including the new prices...

Dunno how widespread this'll be but I ran across this thread on the G35 forums about gas going up tomorrow.

Gas Hike

I paid $3.79/gal for 92 before I took a trip this afternoon. If this keeps up, the economy is really going to be hurting. Stimulus checks are going to end up going completely to the oil companies. It's BS.

Your tellin me. We have a family reunion to go to in late august and we are planning on driving out. Wife and kids in the truck (would use the car but the wife wants to take her bike as well so we can ride on PCH) and I on my bike. We are currently looking at about $800 each way for fuel. Still a heck of alot cheaper then flying but if gets to over 1k each way I might have to rethink the trip.
