You, yes you, driver of the not-as-broken-as-some-would-believe red car!

JOIN THE CORPS

Let the haters know that our cars are not as incapable as they would have you believe, and that every GP, no matter the color, has the same problems! Uncle Pontiac wants YOU~

Actually, this is just an amicable plea for you guys to try and keep the 'it's a red car' posts to a somewhat minimum. I'm really starting to not enjoy asking for help and finding most of my threads filled with posts about how my car is red. I know it's red, I drive it everyday, and I know it has problems. It's five years old and the last owner took piss-poor care of it.

I don't want to ruin the fun because yes, sometimes the joke is funny. It just is starting to seem like the threads constantly get derailed over an inside joke.

If anyone disagrees, just say so and I'll shut my yap.

I wouldnt add the "shrimp slushie" to the end of that disclaimer :p

...and though my car is not red, I do use red as an accent color...So the Bat will offer his services as wingman shadow patrol for the Red Car Corp...let the haters beware

I also use red as an accent color and have not make any red-car jokes that I can recall.
Although, my brother's red GT suddenly just lost its air conditioning, but I'm just sayin.

I pledge allegiance to the red car coalition. And to those others, who dont understand: one finger, longer than all, with neener-neeners, and raspberries to all.

I stand with Arc.

I love it RC!!

In Portland Oregon we have "Team Red" and "Team Black".... These seem to be the most popular colors which brought on the "Teams". Yes there are other colors, and the 2 teams fight over them on a regualar basis.

Mind you, on the strip, there is "serious" competition, but in the shop it's one for all and all for one.... (Only one team in the shop).... Of course there are always jokes about colors, but we all look out for each other. I see the same thing happening here at gpnet.

Arc, I can see your frustration, and can admire your request. I tend not to joke so you won't see any from me, but I don't expect the jokes to go away.

I need a thesaurus... I used the word "joke" too much.... wink

2fast, I dont think anyone would argue that any of your troubles would come from the red color...I think it might be much more from the weight of your right foot laugh ...if anything else on your car is "red" I'm going with glowing red-flame throwing header tubes hammer
