It says deadline is Oct 27 for submitting claims. Is that saying the owner of the vehicle submitting claims? Cause I will go to my mechanic and have him write out a bill for $600+ and submit it!!! And pay my mechanic some of that money.

I've still got my original coolant in the vehicle. If I go get it flushed, do you think they'd cover it?

I have leaking intake gasket for repair. It cost me for $1112.64. My model is 2003 3.1 engine. I still have paper from 10/5/06 in 74,703 miles. Do you think it will work?
Thanks.

Well I'm one of the following becuase I had the LIM gasket replaced and water pump and coolant flush because of the dex-cool coolant. I spent about almost 900 dollars in repairs and I have a 2002 grand prix 3.1. yeaaaaaaaa. I don't see how to place a claim on that page so could I go to the dealership and file one.

"Under the agreement, GM will reimburse some of the cost for intake manifold gasket replacements, cooling system flushes and heater core repairs sought during the first seven years or 150,000 miles, whichever came first, that the class member owned the vehicle. Considering that some vehicles may have been sold and the new owners also paid for repairs alleged to have been caused by Dex-Cool, individual vehicles may generate more than one settlement."
I got mine repaired a year or so ago below the 7 years + 150k mark. I believe I qualify based on the above. I'm going to participate.

Hey, sorry if these sound like stupid questions, but I want to make sure I understand.
1. I spent $920 to have a non-GM mechanic replace my LIM gasket, which I had done due to a coolant leak. That's what this is talking about right?
2. Since it wasn't a GM mechanic, do I still qualify (since it's an 02 with less than 150,000 miles)?
3. How do I make a claim? lol

Google it. There is one place handling all the claims, but the amount reimbursed depends on how long after the owner got it that the gaskets took a dump and how much you paid. The most I saw getting a paid out was for either $400 or $800 if you spent over $1200 on the repair and it was within 5 years of original ownership. It went down drastically from there.
Who did the repairs doesn't matter, as long as you can supply proof of ownership and documentation.

Sorry for the double post, but I've got another question...in the top left of the claim form, it says it can be submitted online...can anyone tell me how to do it online? I don't see how (although it's probably right in front of me).
