just a heads up so if i disapear off the board for 9 months thats why hahaha

I have a few buddies over there on IA. Do you plan on making the Navy a career? If so I say bite the bullet and tell them you'll take the spot. It will help you in the long run. It'll give you bonus points on your profile sheet for advancement. Plus the tax free pay, hazardous duty pay and if you have dependants family separation pay.

Good luck man. Have you ever been to Afghanistan? I might be headed over there this summer for an internship, and was curious how bad it is over there.

Cut him some slack to most people IA is Indiana.

In this case IA is Indiviual Augmentation. What it is is Navy personnell being sent to the sandbox to help out the Army with manning. There are billets (jobs) in Iraq, Afganistan,UAE, Djibuti and a couple others.
