They pretty well made the yankees look like fools. Everyone seemed to think the series was over before it started.

I know that the Tigers are historically terrible, but c'mon...people saw all year long that this years team wasnt the same as in years past. Why they comdemned them so quickly makes no sense, especially since the Tigers usually do pretty well against the yankees.

Who else thinks that its dumb that the tigers/A's game was moved up to 4:30pm EST because of cold weather? Now I wont be able to see any of the game! I can see their logic in it but its still dumb. The A's arent used to cold weather and its been so long since the tigers have played in october they're not used to it either.

I don't care about the weather, but I love that the Tigers are up 3-0 in the series vs. the As.

Only a couple years ago they had the worst record in MLB, now they are one win away from sweeping the As for a trip to the World Series.

Loved watching them this year. Good luck to them in the World Series. smile I love it that everyone is stepping up for the playoffs. Just makes me feel really good. Brings me back to the '84 playoffs.

Figures. The Tigers have sucked my entire life. Then, after I move to the West Coast, they go to the World Series. frown

All my friends have been going to the playoff games and I'm stuck watching them on TV

I too wish I could have gone to some of the play off games. But limited funds for tickets extinguished those dreams. And theres no way I'll be able to afford any ticket for a world series game, plus the fat cat season ticket holders snatch them all up...
