G3 = Aveo. No loss in killing the G3. No need to develop a replacement.
G5 with a GXP package beyond the Cobalt SS' and kill the Cobalt SS would make the G5 the "Hot hatch" for the "performance" division Pontiac is going niche for.
Keeping the Vibe has me puzzled. Must be the sales it generates.
Losing the G6 must mean fleet sales are down or GM wants to throw more sales towards the Malibu. (Drove an LS model last week. Good car other then the anemic 2.4L and blatent cheap interior. The center stack plastic was a turn off as well as the plastic trim around the leather boot on the shift handle.)
G8 is a keeper That is the Sport Sedan to take on BMW just need some interior refinements.
Keeping the Solstice is a no brainer.
Saturn can go. It's the new Olds. Only thing keeping Saturn alive is the no haggle sales. Every dealer has the same car for the same price.
