This semester exhausted me. Last week, exams and 2 papers... one project report over 50 pages, ouch.
Haven't got all my grades yet, just an A and A- *crosses fingers*.
only a couple semesters left, then onto grad school if I'm still alive maybe?

finished CCDM 114 (or what I call algebra for dunmmies), and CS 110 (Computer Literacy) both with an A. I only have 23 or so credits, and my BSEE requires something like 125 CH. Man, I am so far from the end, I still can't even see daylight.
Good news for me though: I wasn't even able to CONSIDER honor roll in H/S. Here in college, I am now above 3.5 CumGPA. I is so smert.

I didn't realize how many engineers there are here.

I'm glad I don't have to worry about school anymore.

I'm going into technical writing, basically writing documents for companies. It's an emphasis in the English department here. 30hrs left and I've got my BA (would have had it sooner if I didn't change majors halfway through).

Yeah I live at home too, and i regret it sometimes though cuase whenever I get in a argument with my parents they tell me how good I have it compared to some people and that how they give me so much. I always tell them trust me when I get a job ill give you a guys a couple grand then you wont have to worry about me ruining your lives so much.

At New Mexico State University, the BS ET and the BS EE are basically 2 diff programs. I think the difference is 4 or 5 classes.
What rocks about my school is that the Army pays 100% tuition. Bummer they didn't do that when I entered, and by now I KNOW I could have been done with my degree if I didn't heehaw around the first 8 years of my service.

My son just did the commencement walk Dec 20th. He spent time at home, then I shoved his ass in an on campus dorm so he'd get his grades up. he stayed there for 2 years, came back home for a few months, moved into a house with 4 other guys for almost a year, then the rest at home. He said there were pros and cons to both. I really didn't care about what it cost for himto live or where he lived, just keep your grades up. I could afford to pay his housing, so he could do what he wanted with what he made part time. It's money and you can't take it with you. I plan on spending it all before they throw dirt in my face so there's no fight over it. He's going to Europe for a few weeks and then hitting the job market. Got my AA last summer myself and went after my reqs for a 4 year degree. It aint easy being an old man, working 60 hours a week and taking 4 college courses at a time. I squeked out of high school a few yesterdays ago with barely a 2.0. My current GPA is 3.5. Put school on hols while working in Bahrain. Congrats to all those that have gotten thier degree and to those that are working towards. Trust me, todays high schol grad is the equivelent to yesterdays high school dropout. Get some kind of degree or tech school and it will help in the job market tremendously. To those paying thier own way, my hats off to you.

yeah i gotta pay for school, insurance, cell phone, repairs on my car, and all that fun stuff... one of the biggest reasons i moved back home, besides the money, was because of my grades... there was always something better to do than study while living away from home and at the dorms... when your living with three other people who want to go out snowmobiling, drinkin, or anything but study, its hard to say no haha... so now i live at home, and my grades are great now... it sucks though paying for school and everything else though... had to sell my snowmobile, crotch rocket, and all my paintball stuff in order to pay for it, but that way ill be able to get out of college debt free... if only i could win the lottery... but itll definatly be worth it once i get a career...

This is my first semester without school and I don't miss it one bit.

My work will pay for an MBA, but I get shivers thinking about it.

I finished up my semester about a week ago. Passed my 4 classes. They werent very difficult, but next semester will be a different story. Should be getting my associates this summer and then going for my BA. School costs way too much money, but it is an investment that will pay for itself many times over in time.
