So, I've read tonnes on the board about flowmasters, but their popularity rating in Canada isn't quite as high I suspect, cause everyone carries Magnaflows around here. That's not to say I can't get flowmasters here if needed, but I am curious about magnaflow's. Does anyone have any experience with them? they have Mario Andretti's picture on the box so how bad can they be wink

Cheers!

I'm partial to Flowmasters. The two things that I've always done to any car I've owned is to first get KYB's on it, then Flowmasters.
The 40 series are a bit noisy in the cabin, drone does make it's self known. I'm not sure about the 50 series. I put a set of resonated tips to tone the volume down just a tad. I found out that they really help alot. The sound is low and rumbly, and I have zero drone.

Good luck.

Much much love for flowmasters, just got my first set I LOVE THEM. Before making a purchase I listened to the tones from borla, magnaflow, and SLP. Flowmaster was by far my favorite. Theyre not even that loud and they turn heads everywhere you go. I liked the magnaflows, but like you said everyone has'em and flowmaster just simply sound better. IMHO.

I've heard both. Ryan here in Edmonton has Flowmasters, and I've heard a couple of the guys with Magna's. Both sound nice, but the Flows are definately deeper.

One of my buddy's says it sounds like a V8, but I told him he was wrong - they're deeper, but not as deep a throaty, V8. But then, he's got a little 4-banger so what does he know about V8's?

I've been talking to ABC Muffler (where you did your ubend) and they're willing to set up a GP Club discount!!

Also a 10% discount at Ziebart's for their detailing packages, but that's another topic.

Sweet!

EnYgMa... We need to setup a meet soon before there too much white on the ground. ABC was awesome to me, so i'll call them next week and see if they can bring in the flowmasters.

Thanks Everyone...

Supposedly, the 50 series are the way to go with Flowmasters. Less cabin drone, deeper sound.
