So yesterday i had a Regionals competition for AutoCAD (computer aided drafting). it was a 8 hour competition we had to draw alot of stuff, i took the architecture part of it. I made state! i took 5th place out of 63 competitors, im pretty happy, it was a long hard day, but it is worth it, Regionals, and State Competions on your resume look awesome. I am pretty happy

Congrats, I took some CAD classes back in high school. I actually enjoyed taking it, should have stuck with it, but shiz-nit happens!

I went to State for Tennis in 10th grade. Team Lost in Regionals in 11th, and lost in Districts in 12th. I went out of that with a great win, best win ever, even though we lost Districts. The other team kind of cheated, but no one did anything about it.

That's awesome that your school has competitions for that. I'm currently in CAD1 at my school and we use KeyCreator and Chief Architect but I think the best part of the class so far was the final where we had to finish a drawing from scratch in a certain amount of time. I think a competition against other schools would be even better but I don't see it happening.

Oh well at least next year Illinois will be doing a statewide high school fishing tournament.

I won a coloring contest in 2nd grade. It was city-wide, too.
Never got anywhere with athletics.
I did win 1st for an engineering project recently. Built a CO2 laser rig (yes, I can pop your tires from 25 feet away lol).
