No it isn't....i was talking more about handling not speed....Even though you can't outrun a radio someone in a very fast AWD evo (my unintelligent friend) passing a cop doing 120 can easily get up to 160 (yes talking about speed now) and get off at the next exit hitting it a lot faster then an impala (my main point: handling) and manage to get away.......................try hitting an offramp at high speeds in a gp and let me know if your front end doesn't give way..................MAIN MAIN point = dont try to outrun a cop in general

Try hitting an off-ramp at 160 in any car. let me know how that goes.

try hitting ANYTHING at 160. Anything aside from the interstate and the track, that is.

not at 160 omg but he got up to 160 and hit the breaks but still hit the offramp at like 80....a 35 mph one.....my point was the product is pointless.....im done

It depends how one uses the product. Not saying I would use the product for these purposes (let alone buy it) but you could use them to hide your plates from public so if you've done something wrong you can flip them down and no one will be able to get your plate #.

As far as getting pulled over and a cop saw you with no front license plate or rear there going to check the plate out if its there. There not gonna just look at it and say oh well here I'm going to let you go. There going to point out the fact that you have hideaway plates and your going to get some form of ticket for them. So in all its worthless to get unless your really into street racing or somewhat heavy on crimes.
