Im looking to sell the old GTP. Time for something new.
Just wondering on any interest and what you think a good price is. Ill try and list all mods and new oem parts i have put on in the last 4 years.
Its got almost 145k, but the transmission only has about 40k on it. Interior is perfect, no leather tears, non smoking car. Change oil every 3k with valvoline full synthetic, switched to full syn max life at 80k. use fram tough gaurd filter for s-10 blazer (longer but same dia)
Just had radiator flush this month.

-Transmission with 34k installed, about 40k on now
-AC Delco Fuel pump (dealer) less then 6mo old
-AC Delco MAFF sensor (dealer) less then 6mo old
-Denso Front O2 sensor (3800 performance)
-Strut top plates all 4 (Napa) 6mo old
-Motor/Tranny mounts bottom (Napa) 2mo old
-Motor mount dog bones (Advance Auto) 2mo old
-Rotors x4, Bendix Titanium pads (Autozone)
-Battery (Autozone) 4mo old
-Outer tie rods, both sides (Autozone) 6mo old
-Wheel Bearings, both front. (Timken brand) 1 9mo 1 in last 2 mo

So i have some good money in new parts and mods.
Kelly BB says good condition private seller about $5600... i would hope i could get at least $6500 with all the extra's. I have most receipts for stuff if needed. the dealer doesnt want to give me more then $4k which is a ripoff.

Im looking at a 04-05 STI... yea im a traitor i know. but its sooo fun

problem is the dealer wants to shaft me on the trade in, so im thinking of selling on autotrader or in a GP forums, where at least you guys can appreciate the value of a few mods.

also you can post it on craigslist so your local can check it out.

Don't expect your mods to get you much over BB.
If you'd like to recoup some of your mod money you'd be better off putting the car back to stock and selling the mods separate.

It's sad but mods tend to decrease the value of the car. Sounds like a nice price and I can tell that the car has definitely been taken care of. Good luck with the sale.

I think im gonna wash it up and put it on autotrader. i dont think i will get shit for my mods, but hope i can at least get the KBB value for provate seller.

If you wanted to sell the pacesetters seperately, I've got a set of stock manies you can have for the cost of shipping. I think someone else here might have a stock downpipe they want to get rid of.

It might help you out if you want to do that.

I've got stock downpipe and manifolds (but I cut the cat out. You could weld one up though).

You'd get a lot more for your headers separate.

If you wanted to swap PCMs, I could trade you either my stock one, or my Intense one for your DHP straight up.

I've got a set of stock manifolds, stock catted D/P from L36 and L67 (should be same), a few extra stock PCMs, stock springs, stock 3.8 m90 pulley, stock airboxes from L36('01) and L67 ('97), and stock GTP fuel pump, available if you need any of those. I'll bring them to you.

i have a stock airbox, DP, and a bunch of other stuff.

I'm really starting to crap up my parents place, haha. If I leave one more thing in the garage they're going to tell me to go back downtown when I come home on the weekends.

i think i have the stock airbox i might reinstall.. and i hope i have the stock pillar cover cause i might pull my gauge pod and gauges too. i do have a stock PCM. hmm.
maybe a quick demod tonight???

WOW, we are just tearing this poor car apart! Why is it when someone posts a GP for sale, we all jump in wanting parts like a bunch of rabid dogs?

i wish i could get all the money i put into it back out of it
