Well guys the novi1000 has slowly been leaking oil into the compressor area so that means the seal is going. Paxton will only do full rebuilds which is expensive $300-400. Soooo I ordered a seal kit from superchargerrebuilds.com ($40) and am going to tackle it myself. Seems like it'd be fairly easy to open up. I'll let you know how she turns out!

Is that a common problem? Seems like you haven't had it that long, and you obviously aren't abusing it because you keep your boost relatively low.

I didn't buy it new. Supposedly it was about 6000 miles since its last rebuild when I bought it. I'm not worried. I noticed it leaking a little bit of oil when I got it, and its just slowly gotten a BIT worse in the 10-13K miles I've been running it. If it doesn't turn out to be that hard, I'm OK with $40 in parts every year or so.

I'll need a lot of practice launching, so who knows. And my spark timing tables are a mess right now... ^I'll be using 93 pump gas and have my usual high torque reduction for transmission saving-ness. I want to run it like I street it. No KR either.
