Before anybody says anything, YES I'm going to pay $20 for a switch. The one's around here are $15 anyway so why not get something flashy.

I'm thinking the black w/ red arming light or red metallic w/ red arming light.

So you only want to run it when you feel like it...?

You can't find a switch similar to that at local parts store?
It's up to you, but if you accidentally mess something up your out a switch and $20.
Just get something cheap but looks good still.
I can see using a switch like that for something worth while, like JATO's but for the pump, what you going to tell people it is used for?

The ones at the parts store are $15 anyway for this style switch.

And when people ask what the swtich is used for, I'm going to tell them exactly what I said before, intercooler pump.

Wouldn't you want that on when the motors running? I'd hate to see you get on the motor and forget the switch. If you don't want it running all the time then you can wire in a micro switch to the gas pedal so once you hit your desired pedal travel the pump kicks in.

Why buy one off of Ebay if your local parts store has one? No need to wait no need for shipping.

For one, the one my parts store has isn't in stock and they can't tell me when it will be.

Secondly, the e-bay switch is a little fancier.

Also, the swtich won't be off unless I'm just sitting there listening to the radio or something. Anytime I'm driving, I'll have it on.

Besides, my car was running knock free before I even installed the IC. Until I either drop a pulley or advance the timing, I'm not going to break anything forgetting to turn it on.

And I'm SURE I'll remember to have it on at the track, that being the only time I really get on it.

So basically you just want a covered switch and have nothing better to use it for.

Lonzer I run the same type of switch and what you want is to be able to run basically knock free under normal driving conditions without running the IC pump, this way if you have a pump failure your not incapacitated.Chico(pops)

Which is exactly where the car is right now. Knock-free at the track and on the street.

I'll keep the 3.5" for the street and look into maybe a 3.25" for the strip.

And yes Herc, I want to put a nice, cool switch onto something that really doesn't need it in the first place. Why? Because I want to and I can.

I like switches, REALLY like toggle switches, and covered military-style toggle switches are the coolest switch ever. And I want one.

BTW, so far there have been 5 posts that AREN'T mine and NOBODY has told me which switch they think would look better.

Also, I don't think you guys realize, the IC pump isn't quiet. If you key-on, you can feel it in the wheel and hear it. It's not going to overpower your stereo but it's VERY noticable. I'm sure Chico can confirm this as well.

I really don't have a preference and I think no one else does either that's why you haven't seen any replies to that effect.

I like it, Zerg.

If I had anything to use it for and had more interior plans, I'd do it too.

Don't mind the crap you're getting, it's not their choice.

Carbon Fiber w/red led or metalic red w/red led.

Preference lies with the CF. cool If I had something that required that kind of switch I'd be all over it.

I guess for me it depends on the look your going for. The CF will blend in better with the darker dash but the standard red is in your face. A row of em always looks mean. I guess I'm a little jaded on em since I've seen em and used em just about everyday for the past 17 years.
