I only mention it here because this is only about a mile from my house and it's the same intersection where that Suburban ran the red light and just about killed me 2 years ago.

Conflicting reports of what happened.

Originally they said the mother had no injuries and the stroller rolled into the street.

Now they are saying the stroller was in the mom's hands and the truck (which was turning right) jumped the curb, smashing the stroller and slightly injuring the mom's hands/wrists.

We live in a small town. This hits home because my daughter is the exact same age as this little boy, and because of my bad experience at that exact location in the past. My wife doesn't even like to talk about my car wreck there because of how close that bumper came to my head.

One of the witness reports said he heard the mother jumping up and down yelling for help. He ran out to check on the child and check for a pulse. He came back and told the witness not to even bother with 911. He said "no one should have to see what I just saw". Ugh my heart goes out to that family. The only comfort I have is knowing that it ended quickly for the little guy, and he probably didn't even know what was happening. I feel worse for the mom and driver.

I can't even imagine how the mom feels. Not only losing your child, but being RIGHT there as it happens...wow...

Is I'm only one think it is sick that they took a picture of road with yellow cover on dead baby's body with broken stroller on news website?

That's shame to see that. Hopefully boy's family will hang on.

Yeah I don't know...every local news showed video/photos of that scene. If it's a sick thing to do, they all did it. Not saying it's right, just that this one website I linked to wasn't the only one.

Of course, it is not your local new do that first time. I know all news have done that many times. I don't think baby's mother would like to see her dead baby with yellow cover picture on website or local tv.

But.. maybe it is just yellow cover for blood on the ground instead baby that might in van already. Who know.

Hopefully, mother feel ok but probably still hurt since then.
