I see where Pontiac has added the Solstice to their website as an available model. I suppose that means they are taking orders for them now. The pricing looks pretty impressive and the gallery pics look very nice as well. Its nice to see one in another color other than silver or pewter. There's even a pic with the top up that looks pretty sharp. The Ecotec and 5spd are the only drivetrain for now, they say an autobox is coming in the spring...I wonder how many folks are gonna jump on this with both feet only to find a Supercharged GT model coming out next year (thats pure speculation on my part...but it how GM usually does things)...I'm very interested to see one up close (I saw one on the turntable at NYC)...the kicker will be can I get in it with any measure of comfort!

Actually it is going to be a Turbo version exactly like the Sky. Rated around 250/250 (do not remember the #s exactly).

its only a 95 inch wheelbase, so I'm sure its quite a bit lighter than a GP and only a little less HP than a GT in stock form...if the turbo goes to 240-250 it should be a real mover...I went and checked out the Saturn website, and I think I like the styling of the Sky even better than the Solstice (I know I like the name better)
