I really don't for see a bird. Given the current pontiac line up. GTO or bird? Both would have similar powertrains both two door and roughly the same price.

Solstice
Firebird (replace current GTO)
G8 Big car big power five speed auto four door would replace the GP/Bonniville
GTO G8 with two doors and more power and six speed manual.
G10 Big land yaht to take on BMW 7 series
