ok, so it isn't a car sound system. I own a small business that does live stage sound and lighting rigs for bands. We recently put the speakers together for some amplifier adjusting and a photo.



That pile is over 14,000 watts of peak handling. Its being driven by an amp rack that weights around 260lbs pushing 8500 watts RMS.

If you like watts... our lighting rig consumes over 8000 watts when full on.
If you're wondering where we get the electricity (16,000watts+), I have a portable sub-panel that gets wired straight into the main panel of whatever building or venue we're working in. So I have my own 120/240V eight dedicated 20A circuits.

I really enjoy this occassional weekend job... wish I could do it full time (minus backbreaking load ins/outs... subwoofers weigh 200lbs ea). Always meeting cool cleveland-area and nonlocal bands and enjoying some decent music (most of the time).

oh yeah. the 4 subs along the bottom are 18" woofers. the center three (floor monitors) are 12" woofers. and the other four "mains" all have 15s

How many alternators are needed to power that? I doubt a stock L67 even makes enough horsepower turn a generator that would be needed.
