Ok Im just frustrated becuae in 20 minintes i have to go start my car car becuase i have to go to school. NO one school within a 30 mil radius is haveing school, its beign canceleed becuase of the weather. What the heck is up with that. youd think they get the hint, their prolly 3 foot drifts in the road and my gp sits liek what liek 5 inches from the ground. This is rediculous, weve been in winter wether advisory for the past week, we had no shcool on monday becuase of it was suposed to get bad around 5, we get out out school at 3:20.once again, what the heck. and it never got bd it wa 40 degrees all day and sunny no friggin wind. its flipiin -3 degrees outside and with windchill its around -30 i jsut hope noone get car trouble becuase they are in deep trouble i these weather condidtions. I jsut neeed to rant because i think this is madness.

Yah, I saw the article on yahoo about -40 in Minneapolis. It takes 10minutes to freeze flesh!!

You could just 'call in sick' to school .. and make your own snow day. Thats what all of my friends did when i was still in high school haha.

I skipped work on monday because it was supposed to be nasty. It did get there, but it happened much later than they were predicting.

Getting in to work today was challenging, highway was down to a single (usable) lane. Left lane was a sheet of ice.

Yup and im exactly in Minneapolis area and I can tell you it was very cold walking from parking lot into my college courses today. I was outside for 3-4 minutes and my body was cold and felt just about frozen. Its even suppose to be worse tomorrow I believe.

and tonight of all nights im sanding my dash, center cosole and my fuse box lol. im nuts.

But i heard its supposed to be extremely could out tonight, like deathly cold.

-25 before wind chill, around -45 with wind chill


then we are expected to get more snow tomarow i think

When I went in school, I used to walk up hill both ways with no shoes in the freezing snow....

The only time school is canceled for weather here is for a bad hurricane, or bad floods. And in my 13 years of school, I can count the number of times it happened with one hand.

I never even got that.. school was always on rain or shine... just twice had it off due to bomb threats...

Only two bomb threats? We usually got 2 bomb threats a month. West Side in late 90s, it was like that.

Brunswick's rules were if the sidewalks weren't clear of snow then a snow day was called.

Get this I moved south to get away from the cold and starting tomarrow it's supposed to be the coldest it's been in the last five years. They are projecting subfreezing temps for over 50 hours!!!!!! Tonight's projected low is 15*F!!!!! Im in Atlanta GA for petes sake!!!!!!!

So get a cushier job. :p If weather is bad, I don't go in, no sense risking my life just to go to work. Besides, I can log in from home.

LOL I can do all my office work at home. And if the weather is that bad the plane won't be flying anyways lol.
