A little background for people.

A turbo prop is a propulsion system that uses a small jet turbine engine connected to a reduction gearbox that drives a propeller.

It gives the best of both worlds. Small jet motor is mor efficient with a prop then a comparable HP output recip and prop.

here's a pic of what powers my plane

LOL by the way the yellow on the motor is covers. The long skinny in the back is the intake and the round one up front is the exhaust.

It would have to be a RWD with a bigger tunnel then what's used on a standard tranny tunnel on a RWD. The motor and Gearbox take up some length.

First, I would need a Hummer Limo...then a TP engine...then a master fabricator...then the fuel...then the PCM...hmmmmm, I can see this being a possiblity.

Thanks for the clarification.

No PCM needed all mechanical controls wink Fuel anything will work. Kerosene, diesel, avgas (for a short time then an overhaul is needed).

If you are going to put aircraft-power in a car, do it right.

What about the 1963 Chrysler Turbine. They made 50 of them. I saw one on Speed the other day on the show "100 cars you have to drive"

http://www.allpar.com/mopar/turbine.html

BTW my old airplane had 4 of these:

F101-GE102
30,000 + pounds of thrust each
61 World speed records
Each engine had a 3" fuel hose at 50 PSI
