If I had the new Camaro this is the conversion kit I'd get for a TA.

I posted this back on a local forum. I would deff rock an early 70's T/A all day.

So Herc and I are the only ones that find that early 70's style sexy?

I guess so. I never liked the front ends on the late 70s Birds or Camaros.

My favorite was the split bumper front ends.

frankly I think all of them have certain retro appeal...and I like all of them better than the Camaro itself.

I've always liked them, and I've driven a few but never got around to owning one. I wouldn't mind driving that retro T/A around, with a different set of wheels, like old school Rally IIs... cool

I like both designs, love the 70's bird in general, although I hated the front end change from 78 to 79

I guess I'm partial to the 79 since I owned one briefly, but some of the early 70s T/As were stout performers in time when horsepower was headed downhill. As a matter of fact I have read stories of the guys at Pontiac down graded their HP numbers to make the execs happy.
I know I drove a 10th anniv one time with the 400 4spd and it made my Bandit feel like weak water.

The last 455SD cars were runners as well.

I just think the conversions that have been shown of the 70s model cars looks a bit off due to the squared headlights vs the round originals.
