Couple of friends and I said they would probably lose to a poor team this year, not a good team! We'll see. I'll I got to say is I am standing proud up in First for the grandprix.net fantasy league!

i was suprised that the philly and pats game was that close, i thought i was going to have a bad day at work monday.

sometimes the poor teams get them ripe for the picking...its easy for powerhouse to get complacent and screw up...just like Chris Berman says "Its why they play the games!"

Lets see what happens when they lock up home field.

I don't think Ben has the mental skill level as Brady and the Patriot staff is just too good together. I don't want them to go 16-0, but we'll see what happens.

True, Tom Brady probably does have a better mental skill level and True the patriots personal is better from the players to the coaches and everywhere in between.

Brady is good because of the system he plays under and the people that were "BOUGHT" around him. They say the salary cap is to keep the league even, that is bull. A player's contract may have a salary of 3 Million that hits the team salary cap for that year but they get paid a 9 Million dollar signing bonus that is guaranteed and also DOES NOT hit the team salary cap. That's why they have all these GOOD players. Brady would not last in a system like the Baltimore Ravens or the Seattle Seahawks, teams like that because they dont have the O-line or the WR like the pats "BUY".

That's one reason I love my Steelers, They are underated each season and pay some of the lowest salaries in the leaugue, and most of the players dont care because they play for the love of the game, the fans, and the history of the franchise as a whole. They are truly blue-collar type football players and fight til the last second is vanished from the game-clock.

So to all the band-wagon Pats fans that have rode on since 2001, dont jump off when teams punch you guys in the face and defeat you. Even if we were to lose, I bet any team would be scared to play us again because we are one of those teams that get might knocked down and get right back up again, with blood drippin down our face and teeth that are destined to fall out to be traded in for Super Bowl rings.

the stealers is going to be our last toughest game this season, i remember there was a sports pub in mississippi and the owner was a pitsburg fan, i forgot what year it was but pitsburg got crushed and there was a huge brawl at the bar that night...wow it was fun still because i was with a group of my budys that where fello fans.

I told ya man, we take football to extremes man, i lived in the 'burgh for 10 years, im thinkin about movin back just because of the football atmosphere!!!! We take a lot of pride in our football team!!!

i was upset about the first game of the season finding that out too but no one really talks about that any more, its all about the records they are about to make. the team has tallent. i dont knock other teams either, i actually like alot of other teams, but i am die hard pats ever since they where garbage.

if u liked them back when bledsoe was there, then i respect ya, but once again i think all those records are tainted and should have the "*". It might not be Brady's fault for cheating but u know what they are still a team, if one is a cheater they are all cheaters. so once this season is all said and done and next season begins, then i will let the pats off the spygate and "*" shnide!

I lost all respect when they started running up the score.

Wouldn't bellecheck feel like an *** if his star QB was hurt because he wasn't up by 30 points late in the 4th against a team who hasn't moved the ball all day.

Records will be broken if not already but this day in age the rules favor the recievers and when your team runs up a score when the game is well in hand. I won't respect it. Many great teams in the past have had the oportunity to run a score up but they were proffessionals and played with respect.

Pats win or lose won't have my respect.

Man, Herc, that just gets me into a debate about football things that aren't cool, such as running up the score.

1.How is spiking the ball any different than intentional grounds?

2.P*ss* footing a kneel down with like under 2:00 minuts left in the game. Are we watching football or some terds not finishing out the game? (this one gets me angry the most)

3.Running up the score, I don't think that is really what it is. It's too NFL teams, not NFL vs. Pee wee.

4.Doing a running play when you are deep in your own territory just to get ready for fourth to punt!

There is more, I just have to watch a game again. I understand the reasons behind some of them, but it just is annoying to watch it.

im all alone........i have no other pats fans to help me out right now im stuck in a corner..of course comming from me a blow out is cool, but then again, it does make the game boring to watch, like last week for example, i was almost on the edge of my seat, i thought i was going to have my first loss. and the colts game, that was a good one, the buffalo game that was just rediculus, but im a pats fan...

1. Spiking your forfitting a down to stop the clock, which doesn't give the defense a chance to play. intentional grounding your avoiding a sack to deny the defense the yards.
2. Is it any different then when the home team on a baseball game goes into the bottom of the ninth gets the game winning run and they end the game on the spot? Even though there is still outs to play? But the major reason is football is a physically demanding and dangerous sport so if the game is in hand and only 50 secs to play why risk injury. Now when your down and you give up that's different.
3.Running up the score is what it is esp. with Bellichek. He's showing the world that see we can beat people without cheating and showing the commish see this team doesn't need a first round pick when your this good (but they do have the niners whose lookin at a 4 or 5 spot)
4. That's just bad play calling. Hey that sounds like my team. Got to watch one game this season and it was appalling at how pitiful the playcalling was. Never mind the poor perforance of the plays called but some one like me can see somethings not working to change things if something is working to stick with it.

yeah...but it doesnt bother me too much, just certain people i can brag about my team around, other than that i tend to keep my happiness to myself.

I'll stand up for the Pats!! Where are we in this debate? I read something about cheating and running up the score, but those are hardly worth a debate. Pats are doing nothing different from any other team. They've been playing 2nd and 3rd string players all season. Other teams are upset that they haven't figured out how to foster good players out of their ENTIRE team, not just the all star players.

I was at the Eagles game and it was pretty intense. I don't think that anyone in the crowd really believed that they were going to lose though.

I agree, I am a Pats fan and have not missed a game yet this season! Some of them (most) are just boring to watch because they are just running over them with the score.... Colts and Eagles I was on the edge of my seat.... I give allot of props for how the Eagles played last week.... Im more worried about the Stealer game coming up, seems like the Stealers have been either really good or really bad during their games... We'll see I guess

I can't wait for Dec. 9th to roll around! The New England Patriots will face the toughest defense in the league. My Steelers offense is pretty awesome too. #1 thing we need to do though is establish a running game, if we can't do that it will go downhill from there. Big Ben is really talented at throwing inside the pocket, but even better if he is scrambling outside the pocket or given the time to set-up for the playaction passes. Heath Miller will be the key in the passing game for sure. I'm more worried about Wes Welker than I am Randy Moss or Donte Stallworth. But it should be a good match-up. CANT WAIT IM SO PUMPED UP RIGHT NOW!!!!

just got off work and lookin' at some highlights, wow! that's how you have to beat them. RUN THE FOOTBALL WITH POWER! that is the steelers forte' and i just hope willie got out all his fumblitis issues last game. i really hope that Najeh Davenport will be able to suit up and play. you should have watched the game, it was intense, probably one of the best games of the nfl season. im happy, but also disappointed because it could have been a loss if it wasnt for the time out bye the ravens. but that games over now, time to gear up for next week, it will be a good one. im not going to say pats will destroy them of they might loose because i dont work for espn or im not john madden, all i can say is i hope they win and it will be a good game.

You wanna know the funny thing, on my terrible towel i got an autograph by a Steelers player last year, guess who it was, Anthony Smith, the player that guaranteed a win this week against the Pats. I think he went a little far wit the guarantee but you u know what, he is not a well known player, so if they (PIT) wins then he will be known for the guaratee and if they lose, hes still young, everyone makes mistakes.
