Speaking of burnouts.....
I thought of this video that was put together by a local member. The best parts are the beginning and the end. That particular car went through 2 sets of DR's last season, took em right down to the steel belts...... Thought you might enjoy this.

Music was the idea of the video creators..... If you didn't think it fit, I guess you just don't understand..... wink We spend a lot of time at the track here and appreciate a good burnout.

Yes, a few of those cars have street tires on, and you are correct. Doing a burnout on street tires can be detrimental to your launch. Typically the burnouts on street tires were primarily for video purposes. Others were because sometimes people just don't believe what has to be said.

So, I just re watched this video again because I wanted to see exactly who was running on street tires.

Honestly, the only person I see on street tires is your's truly. Everyone else is on DR's or Slicks. The stock rims work great for putting race tires on. The only reason I'm shown doing a burnout is because I wanted to polish off my original RSA's on video. I was due to get new BFG's the following Tuesday. I thought the Blue GTO was on street tires, but after getting a look at the driver it's not the car I thought it was.

I'll send the props to the creator.... I'm sure she will appreciate it.... It might even get her to sign up here...... wink
