Copied From Got3800 i went last year as i think one or 2 members from here did also it was a GREAT TIME and we are hoping this year to be even better, i hope you dont mind that i post this up on here we are just looking for a bigger turnout because more cars= more fun

OK FOLKS!!! HERE WE GO!!!!! (some details still foggy but i will edit this post as they become clear)....

1) got3800.com Drag Day 2009 will be held from May 30th to the 31st!

2) i will confrim but i believe that it will be $25 per car for the day to race and i will get spectator costs....

3) Please figure out what type of food everyone will bring and whos bringing what...MODS i have started a post under this one for food...please keep it updated. (WE NEED: grille, buns, hamburgers and/or hot dogs, chips, pop/water/drinks, ketchup, mustard and any other condoments people want)

4) Please remember, if you bring spectators with you, please make sure they dont care about the whole weekend or at least the day, i really dont want to listen to anyone complaining that weekend...lol (also they may want to bring a chair with instead of assuming the stands will work as we typically will pic a spot to ourselves where we can have fun and not worry about pissing other people off, unless the ground/grass is ok with them)

5) typically there is someone with the items we take out of our car at all times so do not worry about bringing stuff and not being able to leave it out of your car for faster times....

6) PLEASE NOTE: BYRON DID NOT FLINCH AT WELCOMING US BACK IN...LETS KEEP IT THIS WAY!!! (what this means: do not speed around in the pits, do not be stupid, you driving a car so dont bring alcohol to drink at the track .... keep it for later at the hotel or something but just keep it out of sight..cooler or something, overall dont be stupid otherwise we will not be welcomed back which in turn i will no longer welcome you back....AKA immediate ban from the site....)

7) hotel is still being worked on for a good rate, i will be calling around again now that i have dates.....

lets have some major fun!!!

Heard from byron, this year we will (providing we get the car turn out i want) have access for up to 3 lanes or more this year. whoot!! Also, i have requested that 3 trophy's be provided instead of the 2 and they have honored this request as well!!!

ALSO, REMINDER 13.99 and faster requires a helmet so plan ahead! Helmets are available for rental there if needed.

Yeah its the end of May so we have some time, look up room cost and see if you cant reserve a room asap, me and you can get a room, maybe bring a 3rd party along to cut the cost down a little bit for both of us.
