The transition from having a 2002 Grand Prix GT with 90k miles to a 50k 04 GTP Comp G has been a great one so far. The ride is so comfortable and the handling is a bit better. I had never driven a supercharged car before in my life and finally got the chance and I fell in love. The only downside to buying the car is that the aftermarket wheels that were on the car had locking lugs and the dealer that sold it to us has no key. So we will have to see what we have to do for that.

As the week goes on ill get more pics, been busy lately but here's 2 pics.

The HAI was put on their just so I could hear sound better. I then cleaned the airbox and put in a new K&N Square filter and will put a K&N CAI when I get the chance.

There is only 1 small rock chip on front bumper, and on the interior there is a piece that looks like it was hit with something and I will take it in soon to get looked at.

I sold my 02 Grand Prix GT for $5000.

Told guy I was no longer interested but let him keep some of the deal.

I went to a bunch of dealerships that wanted 2000-3000 for my car for a trade in and I wanted a bit more out of it then that. So I went to Cedar Rapids, IA and found an older gentleman there that took my car as a trade in for the GTP for 5,000 dollars. Because of not having locking key for lugs and a few other imperfections on the interior he took off some money so I went for the deal.

Most local tire shops can take care of those locks for you.
And I say some get the gmpp handling kit and have fun with the car!!
Nice buy

Before you do the K&N CAI, get rid of those exhaust tips. I can't believe they put those tips on the 04+'s, they are so awful looking. They ruin the car from the back.

LOL! Nice car tho man. My hope is to get through college and then go for something like this either after graduating or in my senior year or something.
Looks like you picked up a nice car though.

The interior is incredible and I love it, and I want everything to match with the red inside, so I'm keeping it stock.

The outside is a bit different, I like the wheels I have but most of you know I have 18" American Racing wheels that will go on in summer, I will prefer those against the Fusion Orange color as opposed to these other 17" wheels.

I will either look into new tips, or polishing my existing exhaust tips and will def get Streetscene Satin Grilles for it.

The only performance mods I want to do is a fenderwall intake that Intense-Racing sells that comes w/ a 9" Cone filter and 180 drilled Tstat when summer rolls around.

Those are my plans and I do not want to go any farther past that as I like everything else that is on the car.

Tint I don't feel is necessary with this car and I got tired of dealing with state troopers since I drive between 2 states that have different tint laws.

25%? That's still illegal and will get pulled over by the Iowa State Patrol. I had 35% on my front windows and got pulled over a lot! I'm not going threw that again.

Even if I tinted the tails lightly it would make them illegal and would more then likely be mentioned by a state trooper if I ever got pulled over. Ya I'm paranoid but also I'm never tinting tails again.

I'm not sure what this SPO Package is for my car?

Headers would just lead me in the wrong direction of where I want to go with the car. I wanted a quick car with good looks and I now have that. I think the whine of the Gen V will be good enough when I get a FWI, or CAI in.

ben, just roll your windows down. If you tint your tails, do a light tint and make sure they can see them. If they can see them, you are fine.

Look ALL over, the SPO package is EVERYWHERE! lol go look on clubgp and PFYC!
