As for tint recommendation, if you go to a auto parts store, get the best quality they sell that blocks out the most heat, not light. The cheap stuff will turn purple on you. People think the darker the tint, the better it blocks heat, but they are wrong. I have 35% legal tint that keeps my car very cool in the summer. I know Lowes also sells tint for your home, and it has lots of UV blocking and heat rejection properties.

Well I went and got some tint from Oreilys, i got the one that blocked out the most heat and it was still a 5% tint. I ended up taking the afternoon to precisley cut out all the peices then set them on flat surfaces and unpeeled em and sprayed em down with window application fluid stuff i got aswell and then put it on, had no troubles with bubbles, was able to get them out instantly and was able to tint my jeep in no time. I couldn't do the front windows because they didn't have enough but i guess that may be a sign, i wanna keep my jeep legit so I'll have to stay with no tint because you have to have 70% or higher in iowa otherwise your in trouble. Heres some pics of my tint job i did: (Forgive me windows a bit dirty from holding the tint film against it spraying the application fluid on it.)

the best thing to use (and WAY better and cheaper) other than the tint spray crap they sell is to use some plain old tap water with some baby shampoo, trust me you'll thank me, ive done MANY windows, and watched even more get done with this method and the result was 100% better than that tint application crap

Yah, i actually had 2 bottles, the applicator stuff and the baby shampoo with a little bit of water, i had heard of that method and both work fairly same, i see no real improvements from one to the other..
Overall I think it looks good, now I had my car done, that was a proffesional install by someone who works for Llumar window film and i can def tell what the proffesional can do and what i can do....the outside looks good but the inside is a bit well, "iffy" i made it look good on outside but when you get inside my lines from cutting were not straight (bad razorblade but only one i had at the time). Overall i dont regret it, its not like everythings perfect on the interior of the jeep anyway, stuffs falling apart.

The windows will get clearer in a few days. If you can leave the doors open to help them dry faster do it. Especially tomorrow in the sun.
