Hi,

Since i've been close VW world because my wife's NBeetle, i'm close to people that, yes could be racers but, how do we (GT/GTP) perform againsta for example a New Beetle 1.8T, or a Jetta VR6, or this kind of cars, I know GTP numbers are better, but i'm showing off both GT and GTP. You know this people think our cars are a kind of hugh slow boat.

Thanks

Yes is an stupid question but, i need it for stupid conversations. cheers

I met up with my friend's jetta turbo 1.8T once, while I was all stock. We were both goin about 30 and gunned it to 60ish, so it was pretty short, but I did whoop him pretty good.

supercharging/turbocharging helps to eliminate power loss at altitude.

I tried to race a GTI last night, that little bugger was fast, granted I dont have a flashed PCM to eliminate the 3-2-1 shift or the 4-3-2 shift, he kinda just U-shifted and blew away, all though I easily kept up and blew by him. he didnt know what the :edit: hell hit him.
