This is my dad's 2006 Pontiac G6 car. He is 70 years old. Since I born in 1983. He never got any car accident when I was living with him for long time.

When I got his message "car accident and hospital". I just couldn't believe it. I was thinking it gotta be other moron driving hit him.
It is happened today in morning. frown He was driving around but he pass out during driving. The car went itself to hit 1996 Buick Regal. The damage is little bad. frown

I kind glad he is pass out during driving because he live alone. If he pass out in his own apt then I never knew about that. He could dead without no help. He is staying overnight right now. It look like it will going to stay body shop for while when I'm going loan him my winter beater.

Damage car from tow place

I took her back to my dad's apt and fix it

Actually, it is his FIRST time pass out. Like I say he never got any car accident. He is perfect driver like I do. laugh I do visit him often since we are in 20 miles apart. He is doing fine as normally. He work out and take it easy like normal people.

I don't know what cause him pass out. The doctor told him that he is staying here and tomorrow. He might go home on Wednesday or whenever doctor told him go out. I hope nothing serious about that. After that, I might talk to him about hire nurse or have him move to my half sisters' house in Indiana or Georgia. But I know he won't move because he like live near me because I'm only one son he has.

This car damages are front bumper, left headlight (plastic bracket crack) and fender inner.

I know duct tape job is stupid but it is just keep the bumper loose/shake like 1st picture.

Sorry about your dad, hope he gets well and the car isn't too bad. Does your dad have insurance on the car, if so Im pretty sure it won't go up to much because of his age.

Thanks. Yes, he has insurance for this. I actually took care everything.

Since he is staying hospital.
I went to his apt for get his clothes when they cut his favorite Colts Jersey. At least it is old #32 Edward James jersey who is now playing Arizona. We are colts fan laugh

I went to tow place to get his car out after check his damage. It can fix but I don't want this car staying nasty place with 10+ cats! That's new to me. So is that beware of cats instead dog? lol One cat actually sit on trunk lid. I tell it shoo shooo... Damn cat but lucky no nail scratches on this roof or trunk lid.

I went to State Farm place. He is actually surprised that he got car accident but he understand his pass out reason that it is not his fault. He know him very well since State farm business is 1 minute from my dad's apt. After I file the claims for him. I don't know how bad badly damage for 1996 Buick Regal. Hopefully, it is not bad like his front bumper.

Then I went to body shop for esimate cost. It was $1100 BUT it is WITHOUT state farm claims since it is not ready yet. I just told him just give me esimate and what need to repair.

Then I ask my ex gf to take me to tow place to get my summer car that sitting 3 miles from my dad's apt. I didn't park in nasty place. I park at Kroger (food store parking) to avoid nasty dirty tow guys. I don't trust them to tow my prety car lol

I don't think it will go up after 25+ years accident-free. His insurance is too way low than mine because of good driver discount, and of course his age too. When I just reach my 25 age and it is finally go down.

I hope so too. I hate to see him in hospital. He hate it. Hospital food is nasty for him.

Oh right. I have lost interesting him since he left Colts. I laughed that he made his mistake when Colts won super bowl without him lol

lol that's how I learn from NASCAR. Hopefully whoever saw this thread will hire me to work on NASCAR car wink

He is doing fine but still staying hospital overnight again tonight. Hospital suggest that use pacemaker. So they can know his heart is beating if he live alone without no help during pass out. I think that's neat idea.
