DMV send me a letter saying that I have 13 points on my license from two speeding ticket 20 mph over the speed limit. So I had to take a driving improvement class to get rid of the points but I still can't get no more tickets within the rest of the year or my license is suspended for one year. (The class was 10 hours long) So today I'm going 55 mph on the interstate and people was honking the hell out of me which one of the cars that beep their horn at me was a geo metro.

You can do what I did and move to another state. I was living in Maryland and had at least 5 or 6 points. When I moved to VA, I requested a copy of my record and they said it was clear and that nothing transfers over. Nice. I'm about to move back to MD though. We'll see if their still on there when I get back.

i dont know if texas has the point system on your license? Does someone with more knowledge know if texas uses the point system.

Thats funny because my lease for the apartment is up in january and my brother mention about moving to maryland because its cheaper to live out their instead of va, but if the record does clear when you move to another state somebody let me know because I have a aunt that lives in maryland right now and wonder if I could use her address.

I know back in the day you were allowed 3 tickets per year. On the 4th ticket you had to go see the judge, but that's not too bad. 6 months probation is a breeze.

Come to Mexico, I've never had a licence, i've been pulled over several times for speeding, even one time i thought some onae wanted to race and i didn't noticed it was a patrol...nothing happened.

of course if you want to speed you'll ned to drive late at night cause the traffic.

Individual states might not recognize points issued by another state. But your insurance company will know.

They have a points system in Missouri, it bites, but what can you do... watch out!!

I've got some crazy sense to where I know when there's a cop nearby... I've been driving almost 2 yrs, never even been pulled over... and I speed a decent amount...

Never had one, just when i was 16 years old, and it was a permission based on my father's license, that was the only one.

But is not the average here, everyone i know has a license but me. I'll try to get one soon...

No, it is very easy, and once you get one is forever, just 35 usd aprox.
It is all my fault.
