DMV send me a letter saying that I have 13 points on my license from two speeding ticket 20 mph over the speed limit. So I had to take a driving improvement class to get rid of the points but I still can't get no more tickets within the rest of the year or my license is suspended for one year. (The class was 10 hours long) So today I'm going 55 mph on the interstate and people was honking the hell out of me which one of the cars that beep their horn at me was a geo metro.

You can do what I did and move to another state. I was living in Maryland and had at least 5 or 6 points. When I moved to VA, I requested a copy of my record and they said it was clear and that nothing transfers over. Nice. I'm about to move back to MD though. We'll see if their still on there when I get back.

i dont know if texas has the point system on your license? Does someone with more knowledge know if texas uses the point system.

Thats funny because my lease for the apartment is up in january and my brother mention about moving to maryland because its cheaper to live out their instead of va, but if the record does clear when you move to another state somebody let me know because I have a aunt that lives in maryland right now and wonder if I could use her address.

On the 4th ticket you had to go see the judge, but that's not too bad. 6 months probation is a breeze.

Come to Mexico, I've never had a licence, i've been pulled over several times for speeding, even one time i thought some onae wanted to race and i didn't noticed it was a patrol...nothing happened.  of course if you want to speed you'll ned to drive late at night cause the traffic.

They have a points system in Missouri, it bites, but what can you do... watch out!! I've got some crazy sense to where I know when there's a cop nearby... I've been driving almost 2 yrs, never even been pulled over... and I speed a decent amount...

Yea, I got 2 tickets and got my license suspended for a month. It kinda sucked because I'm still on my prov. license (I'm 18) and I had to get to work somehow. Had to whip out the old Magna bike.

3 speeding tickets right here!! I'm only 17 and I'm about to turn 18 on the 25th. I gotta slow down. Me and a bunch of my friends went racing last friday too. I know I know im an idiot....

I once got pulled over twice in one night, within a hour of each other by the same cop.
And then a few months later i was pulled over three times in two days.
I only have one ticket on my driving record, that's the 115 speeding ticket. I wasn't able to get off that easily,even though the cop wrote Grand Am instead of Grand Prix.

I've been driveing for 3 years and i have one speed ticket 92mhp in a 50...gotta love the highway patrol....and that 11 points. and the points don't clear for 18 months...

In Arizona anything over 25MPH over the limit its a Felony and an automatic arrest for reckless driving, then you have to deal with sherif Joe...

I've been getting tickets every two years. Just enough time for the points to go away, then they come right back.
As explaned to me by a retired Michigan state trooper, it doesnt matter how fast you're going over the limit. The only way for it to be "reckless driving" is if you appear to not be in control of your vehicle. (but this is in michigan obviously) You'll still get one hefty ticket, but it doesnt look quite as bad on your record.

In Savannah, Ga, there is a no-pursuit law, with a grace of 10 mph over the limit. However, if you do 25 over, you gotta go talk to the Sheriff, anything over twice the limit is Attempted Suicide/Homicide. So, don't go 10 MPH in a 5 MPH parking lot. I kid you not.
Oh, why would anyone not wanna talk ol' Sheriff Joe? He's mah hero! 'Sides, I think I would look sexy in those pink shorts!
