That was daytona!!!!! doing the pit. What was that guy doing under the van? Trying to act like a victim?

Awesome. Never did see any lights on the GP, but it had the Daytona spoiler. Maybe an off-duty cop in his personal vehicle? Either way, he sure can perform a PIT maneuver.

We saw a 2-door GTP cop car in Ft Worth when we were there for the Laps for Charity event.
The fog lights had a blue cover on one and a red cover on the other, all decked out in police decals and light bar.

Awesome. I too don't know how the guy ended up under the van so quickly.

Only thing wrong was the cop picked the wrong location to perform the pit.

Too much traffic and you saw the collatteral damage.

Sweet!! I saw a video on Youtube once of an undercover GP. Had red and blues hidden in the grill and some other spots. Pretty cool, to bad the video is unavailable now...lol

I'm no accident investigator, but it seems to me that the van did indeed roll onto the right side. Look at the A-Pillar damage and the damage to the RF fender. Must have been some outrageous lateral forces to have snapped the LF spindle like that.

Another explanation may be that the fueler for the Monte was run down and that's where he (or she?) was finally pinned. Either way, must have been a bad day for the pinned individual. Run down AND arrested? I know I'd be needing a hug after that. lol.

im betting that the guy that was under the van got thrown out. and the van rolled on top of him.

It was well executed, but like Herc said, poorly timed.
