But yeah sometimes honest to them will let you off hook but it is not 99.9% work. I told police officer that I admit my mistake part. I get off hook few times that I was too young and speeding long time ago.
Palsut speeding?! no way.... [/b]
Yes, I did speeding long time ago. Now, I'm 27. Got driving liscense in age 16. That's 11 years ago. I'm not proud of that. I wish I took that back time for not doing that again. I got busted for 4 speeding tickets. 1 more ticket then I'm going to lose the driver license. My last speeding ticket was November 2003. That's nearly 7 years ago. I have come clean and got a great driving record because I listen to police officer to tell me just follow the speed limit and we never bother you. I did that and never got bother by police since then. Wish people could follow that so they won't complain about speeding ticket as it is law.

That is lucky as heck!

And Pat I always get bothered by the police when im following the law. I got stopped walking to work yesterday morning. Granted I worked 17 hours the day before and only got 3 hours of sleep and was hung over but he still had no reason to stop me and call me over to his cruiser no matter how terrible I looked at the time.

And be careful not because they just passed the law in Ohio where if the office thinks your speeding by how fast he sees you going he can give you a ticket. So you could be going 45 in a 45 and he could think your speeding and ticket ya.

Yes, I heard about new Ohio law that they will use "eye" instead radar gun. I have seen few police cars on highway after new law passed. I never got any problem yet but who know. We will see how it going. Sometimes, I use speed limit or go over 5 mph. I guess they choose "eye" thing because of people buying radar jammer or something that they keep avoid. I guess police is getting smart for use eye thing idea that speeding people cannot use anything about that. Yeah part of me if what if they are wrong like you mentioned if I'm doing 45 on 45 mph. I get wrong ticket for doing like 55 mph. Tough to tell.

Seems to me like you could go to court and if the officer doesn't have the radar to prove that you were speeding they don't have any evidence and have to dismiss it.

Yea, I'm sure it will be over turned. All they need to do is line some officers up and have some cars do some runs by them and see if they can call it.

Unfortunately, common sense does not rule the day in most courts.

It's ok. Police are now granted the power of uberdepth-perception with their eye radar. All is well, nothing to see here folks, move along.
