SOmetimes nice things happen with surprise. When I went to the salvage yard the other day looking for tail lights for the GP, I was also eyeballing a few cars to try and find a suitable spoiler for my Sebring vert. Alas that search came up empty but when I got home I went out to the garage toput up the tail lights and I spied my old GP spoiler sitting there in the corner.
The wheels began spinning in my head and I figured I had nothing to lose so I cleaned the old piece up and carried it out and sat it on the Sebring decklid. I then ran in the house and grabbed the wifes camera and squeezed off a few shots...check these out

I'm likin the look and the bolt holes dont appear to be a problem. I like the way the up sloped ends that lay flat on the GP trunk make for lifted corners on the Sebring. Some color matching should give it a slick blend with the body curves...and I cant argue with the price lol

Thats not bad actually, just paint the spolier same color of the car and it should look better, well hell it already looks better than a stock sebring with the dual exhaust. That sebring looks like a loaded car stock from the dealership.

I give it two thumbs up. Just raise it up so your decklid doesn't get rusty underneath. kooky

Most of the guys on the Sebring board are around my age but generally dont mod their cars very much. Mostly because there is so little aftermarket support, so if they dont like the GM spoiler they can send a complaint to Bob Lutz since he used to work for Chrysler lol

I picked up some clear tablecloth vinyl to make a template and I need to go by the dealer and grab some of those funky studs that go in the spoiler. Hopefully I'll have it on by the end of the week. Color matching will have to wait until after May. Thanks for the feedback guys thumbsup

Not sure what I think... I'll wait until I see it in person to give it an honest opinion.

Might want to make sure that it doesn't block the third brake light. Not sure how the law looks at that.

That third picture just has me seeing some big a$$ slicks on the back of the Sebring! LOL
It just turns it into a muscle car or drag machine!

I like it. Just one thing. The car is in dire need of a debadge on that trunk.

Tbat, try scooting it a bit further forward so the rear portion is even with the trunk. I think it might flow a bit better that way.

If you push to right below the windshield, it actually reminds me of the spoilers on the Dodge Stealth.

maybe see if someone on clubgp or here has a stock silver spoiler to trade? cheaper than paint, but it might not match exactly.

Just a thought

no actually I stumbled onto this one almost blind...I had been looking at the salvage yard to try and find something that would work on the car...never really considered the GP spoiler cuz I knew it wasnt a flat mating surface...In truth I had originally planned a pedestal style wing to hearken back to the roadrunners of the 70s...but this is gonna work fine for me.
