She's pretty...

Bet she handles a little better than the old C-130 too huh?

She's slower and moves around alot more in turbulance. But that's what happens when the C-130 flies at an average weight of 130,000 pounds and the average weight of the C-12 is 12,500.

I've always liked the look of the king airs. What position are you for this one? Werent you a load master for the c-130?

slower than the Herc? wow!...I guess those 4 turboprops on the C-130 really kick some thrust!

Sharp looking new ride tho thumbsup ...nice shot too...love the reflection off the tarmac.

Get this the Kingair has turboprops (like the C-130)but the little jet engines are facing backwards. And the airconditioning is belt driven just like the car!

You are moving up, a C-130 to a C-12. Did you ever get a chance to be in a J model? I saw them testing at Edwards in the late 90s. I have flown in all AF jets and always loved hearing we got a C-21 to take us places. C-21s rock, I guess that is why rich and famous lease them. I was a B-1 Crew Chief for almost 15 years. I have taken my AWESOME jet all over the world for airshows and other places to do other things.

No never flew in the J. Navy only has the Ts same as the Air forces H3s. Matter of fact the Navy has the last 20 H models off the line before Lockheed swithched to the Js. As a crewman I wouldn't call it moving up.

Typically it's about 200 gallons at a pop that we buy.
