I bought a wheel and peddles. What you don't notice with the regular controls is that there is a dead spot right in the middle. The wheel amplifies this dead spot. I felt like I was driving a big rig with sloppy steering. Working the wheel left, then right, then left again... and all of this just to go straight.

Yeah, I noticed the dead spot in the controller. Wonder how bad it is with the new steering wheel. The old one only turned 200 degrees. The new one goes a full 900 degrees (2 1/2 turns either way).

I would think if it's 2 1/2 turns, then the dead spot would be amplified even more, but who knows. The only way to find out is to try it.

You know what would make GT4 even cooler? If they put GTP's in it. smile

I had a couple of wheels for the Desktop I was able to set up the wheel with as much dead spot as I wanted or as little. Are you saying the Wheels for the PS2 you can't calibrate?

I also have a wheel for my desktop, and it works awsome.
The wheel I bought for my xbox does not have any calibration. It was a $40 device, maybe the more expensive ones have calibration.
