1st off no I am not a redneck at all. Its the thrill of the hunt and the sport. Plus the food tastes amazing! lol

I have since I was young but mainly upland birds. For the past 3 years I have been concentrating on White Tail Deer. Going balls out on everything. I will be getting into Turkey this upcoming spring. Just wondering who else does if any? What guns equipment etc?

Guns:
I use a Thompson Center Omega Muzzleloader with a Leupold VX-I 3-9x40mm scope. Pyrodex loads. Thompson Center Shockwave 200-300 grain .50 sabots.

I have Stoeger Model 2000 semi-auto shotgun 12ga 3in which I use for upland game and buck. And will be using for turkey.

A Beretta 12 ga 3in over under for upland.

A Winchester 20ga side by side for small game / upland.

I have a Remington 700 BDL 30-06 with a Leupold VX-3 4.5-14x50mm Long Range scope for when I go out of state since you can't use rifles in RI.

400 800 and 1200 gram boots
Leupold RX-750 Rangefinder in Mosey Oak
Deer Drags yes I do it the hard way.


Muzzleloader season opened up the 4th and Ive been out since. Shotgun in Dec. I usually take the winter off from cars lol.

The only downfall is most girls don't like it that I kill bambi so I usually keep that from them hahaha.

My father and I will go hunting a couple times during deer season. We have a cross bow and a couple shot guns. I couldn't tell you what type they are off the top of my head.

I have never hunted before, but I think it would be a great experience.

Fishing is where it's at though!

Hunted White Tail while I lived in WI and went Elk hunting in Colorado a few times with my dad. My wife is such a animal lover that it was just easier to stop hunting than deal with the arguments each year.

I don't have anything fancy for fire arms.

For my long range deer hunting I have a Savage 300 for the short range stuff(like we had in Maine)a couple of 30-30s and 30-32s. For the big birds an old Montgomery wards 2.5 inch 12g semi auto and an even older Belgian Browing semi auto 12. For the smaller birds I have an upland game gun by Savage. It's an over under .22 on top and 20 guage on the bottom. I think my "newest" gun is 40 years old.

Ya the only two guns I own that are about 1 yr old are the muzzle loader and my Stoeger semi. Those I bought for myself. My dad gave me the short barrel side by side Winchester to me when I was 12. The rest are part of my dads huge old collection. He even has quite a few double triggers lol.
