Okay guys and gals, here are comparisons of a fully loaded GXP and a GTO, with upgraded wheel packaged and 6-spd tranny. GTO is cheaper by about $1600. Now, it may not have a sunroof and a few other options, but with 400 hp and 400 tq at the rear wheels I'm thinking the GTO is a better deal. Yes, these prices do not include dealer markup, but don't kid yourselves into thinking dealers won't mark up the GXP like crazy, because they will. no no no

GXP

GTO

I would get a GTO based on that fact alone... at the REAR wheels. laugh

I want a GTO because it's a GTO! It's an American legend! Plus, with the visual changes to the Grand Prix, it looks more like our GPs than anything else Pontiac makes now. It's a very sexy looking car.

And it goes fast.

laugh

If I didn't have kids I'd get the goat over the GXP. Unfortunately I need the extra room the GXP has. But in a about a year to year and a half I'll be looking at the new G8. Hopefully it'll be more of a full size similar to the Bonnie is now other wise I'll be getting the Bonnie SSEI.

By the way the GTP will stay my stable. smile Just lookin for new "family" car.
